We will offer a single division of Public Forum on Saturday and Sunday, January 14-15. We will use the January resolution, to be announced December 1 by the NSDA. PF rounds will be at the high school. If there is interest, we will run a Novice Breakout for the top four first-year teams not reaching the varsity elimination rounds.

Entry Limits: Initially, each program is limited to 5 entries per division. Extra entries will go on a waiting list, but please note that our first priority is to add new schools to the field, rather than granting already admitted schools entries beyond the first five.

Judges: Schools should make every effort to cover their entries with trained judges. Schools must provide one judge per 1-3 entries. You may not cover PF entries with judges from other divisions. We will offer a judge training at 8:30 AM at the tournament. Since we are offering a small number of judge strikes in Public Forum Debate, we cannot accept judge name changes after the strike sheet has opened. PLEASE MAKE SURE YOUR JUDGE NAMES ARE ACCURATE.

It is our intention to hold a Runoff Round in PF so that most, if not all, of the 4-2s will get the chance to clear. We realize that clearing can be determined based on tenths of a speaker point over six debates and believe strongly in doing a Runoff Round, but the Doubles cannot happen without the full complement of judges, so NO JUDGE OBLIGATION ENDS UNTIL AFTER DOUBLES in Public Forum, and then only for schools that cleared no teams in PF, even to the Runoff Round.
